The howling wind,

from the day we were separated.

Phew! Finally, it is done.

It took VERY long time to finish this piece. O_o
I don't know should I say it in hours, days, weeks or months.

I didn't work on this every day but I had this unfinished on my computer over a month.
I worked really hard on it. 8D


This was a practice for skin tones and lighting. And I actually learned many new things and techniques about skin tones and all.

Yeah, I also have to mention that.... I first sketched Riku with a dynamic pose.
Well, when drawing line art, I forgot what I was doing and I made the pose look more stiff.
Later I realized my mistake and I tried to fix the pose to the way it first was.
And as a result...I have made that lame pose which is totally ruined from the one I had first in my mind. Blergh.



I'm not too satisfied with this pic but I don't think it's my worst either. (I hope...)
It was such a pain in ass to draw/ color his nose and eye.
It took ridiculously long time to finish the eye!
(look how tiny part it is from the whole pic!)
I redid it 7 times and still I'm not satisfied with it. xD
Too hard angle for me I guess.

I made with patience everything else but his hair...I hope it still looks okay...

Ha ha This happens every time....it's a must: I see the worst mistakes when I think I have finished the whole piece. *slaps face* I never learn.

Ack.....Maybe I shouldn't have uploaded this pic here. *embarrassed*

EDIT: I fixed some big mistakes on neck, lips, eyebrows and hair. It's a lot better now than what it was first. O_o
Also the pic is bit bigger now.
